I oppose this bill because it weakens protections for at risk wildlife and their habitats. Enforcement officers should have more power to stop projects that effect habitats. Read more

I do not support bill 5. We should have more efforts to protect wildlife and green spaces. These areas are home to many flora and fauna that may otherwise not have a safe habitat. It would not only be irresponsible to shortcut conservation for the sake of industry, it's inhumane. Read more

Absolutely not! Doug Ford needs to be investigated every step of the way, he has other plans in the works and we are tired of being treated this way. He does not represent Ontarians and he does not care of the well being of the general public. Please stop this!

Please stop stealing from Ontario. Nature is important to the wellbeing of the people in this province as well all the animals, especially endangered species, that rely on protected green space to survive. Hands off the Greenbelt. It is not yours to make a profit.

Bill 5 should not go through. This bill is harmful for the environment, animals, and the people living in Ontario. It is also not smart to give Doug ford enough power to exempt anyone from provincial laws on his judgement. Read more

I do not support Bill 5. Risking our wildlife for the pursuit of "development" is another word for uncontrolled destruction in favor of a - better ask for forgiveness, than permission approach. Which is not how we should handle our very delicate ecosystem. Read more

I oppose Bill 5 in Ontario because it undermines local democracy by reducing the number of city council seats without proper public consultation. It purposefully disrupts fair representation, making it harder for constituents to have their voices heard. Read more
