I disagree with these proposed changes. I do not agree with the concept of “special economic zones” and exemptions. First Nations must be consulted. repealing the Endangered Species Act. Read more

Leave the green belt alone. Flooding etc in the GTHA will only continue to get worse as you bulldoze our green space for corporate profits. How about filling empty houses, condos and warehouses with affordable housing and returning rent caps so people can afford to live. Read more

Government should not have a say in which species are protected—third party, non biased, evidence informed environment professionals should have the final say. Birds and marine life should absolutely be included in protected species. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. We need stronger environmental protection. No work should be done that is not approved by environmentalists. The red tape is there for a reason and when it comes to “protecting species” we need to listen to the experts and have their input ALWAYS.
