I oppose bill 5 and want stronger environmental protections in place for Ontario. I oppose short cuts for industry and overriding the law in special economic zones.
Please do not go through with this. The climate cannot handle it. It is not worth the short cuts for the industry. Nor is short cutting like this ethical or appropriate.

The proposed changes that allow the government to remove species at risk, redefine habitat, and remove harass from the act are anti science and are open to abuse.

Protecting endangered species and habitats requires curtailing the expansion of human settlement. It is impossible to simultaneously protect a sensitive area and develop on it. I believe the current procedures are necessary to continue protecting our natural spaces for future generations.

I do not support bill 5! It’s not Doug fords land, it’s the land of the people of Ontario! We want protections put our land that will keep wildlife and green spaces safe!! We don’t want to pave over preservation /conservation areas! Stop selling off Ontario and stripping regulations!
