I oppose bill 5, and do not approve of our government loosening environmental protection. Regardless of economic gain, it our responsibility to use due diligence to study the impact we have on our land and other species before projects are initiated. Read more

I strongly oppose this proposal. Infrastructural advances must be made with ecological impact in mind. It has been proven throughout history that natural disasters adversely affect infrastructure where ecology was ignored during development. Read more

I strongly oppose Bill 5, the Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act. This omnibus bill poses a serious threat to Ontario’s natural heritage, democratic processes and Indigenous rights. As it includes schedules to so many other Acts, it undermines democratic citizen involvement. Read more

I strongly oppose to Bill 5 section 9. I am a resident of Ontario and I do not want natural resources being ruined. There needs to be 100x more consultation with indigenous people, they need to call the shots. They know the land the best.

I strongly oppose bill 5 as a resident, born in Ontario. Our land is to remain safe for animals and green space, consultations with indigenous peoples must take place when developing their land. The economy needs green space.
