I’m writing as a concerned citizen about the changes proposed in Bill 185 to the Endangered Species Act. While I understand the need to build more housing and grow the economy, I’m very worried that these changes will weaken important protections for Ontario’s wildlife and natural spaces. Read more

Please do not put endangered species at any further risk. There are alternatives to paving over kilometres of protected land. The long-term effects of putting development first will irreparably damage Ontario.

I oppose Bill 5. I do not agree with removing or even cutting back on The Endangered Species Act. I do not agree with fast-tracking Industrial development with no oversight. I’m ashamed of Doug Ford and his Conservative government for even proposing such things. Read more
