This is ridiculous, nature and animals are a part of being canadian and we shouldn't sacrifice the wellbeing of our land for housing when there are so many other places to put it.

Doug Ford....it is shameful that you are still paving the way for all your developer friends to chip away at our beautiful province. You are selling us off. You are putting habitats and animals at risk and affecting Indigenous land. Read more

I vehemently oppose bill 5. I want strong environmental protections for endangered species, as well as all species including HUMANS. I oppose short cuts for industry with no public oversight. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. Don’t touch our greenbelt. Read more

I totally disagree with Bill 5. This is a slippery slope we will be going down. Equally alarming is the creation of “special economic zones” that would allow cabinet to approve major development projects without proper environmental assessment, public input or Indigenous consultation. Read more

It is important to look for ways that we can support our economy, but we also need to consider what we care about as Canadians so that we don't lose our identity in the same breath. Camping, trails, protected forests and environments are all defining aspects of growing up Canadian. Read more

Environment and endangered species should be very well protected and there is no reason to put endangered species at even higher risk for the sake of developing buildings and homes. Read more

The proposed changes would repeal the Endangered Species Act. Just think about that for second. "Repeal the Endangered Species Act." Why would somebody want to do this? It sounds like something Cruella de Vil would do. Why would the government want to destroy nature and kill endangered animals? Read more

I completely disagree with Bill 5. I think now, more than ever, endangered species, and environment should be one of our priorities as Canadians. We are very proud of this landscape, and it is our responsibility to protect this land. Read more
