As a taxpayer, mother, and fourth-generation settler of the province of Ontario, I am shocked at this proposed Bill. It is more important than ever to protect natural spaces and habitats for current and future generations, and countless species.

I strongly oppose Bill 5. I disagree with this bill's aim to remove the few protections for our land and wildlife to create shortcuts for private industry, and I do not believe this to be in the best interest of Ontarians, long term. Read more
