I am extremely concerned and opposed to this bill. Ontario is home to great biodiversity that stands in a delicate balance due to decades of development that encroaches on nature. We need environmental protections and safeguarding in place and this process cannot be rushed. Read more

I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry with no public oversight. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. Disappointed in this government, but not surprised!

I oppose this bill. Stop selling out our land and resources. We are perfectly capable of housing Ontarians without sacrificing the protection of our wildlife. I care about my province and the nature it gives us. Don't take this away from us. Read more

This is an absolutely terrible idea. I have never heard anything stupider come out of a person. This so called Bill has enormous negative impacts on the health and well-being of Ontario's geography. It puts thr endangered species that call this province home in danger. Read more

I am alarmed and outraged by the proposals in ERO #025-0380, which recklessly undermine protections for Ontario’s most vulnerable species. Allowing developers to proceed immediately after registration—without prior review or environmental assessment—amounts to deregulation by stealth. Read more

I oppose this as they should not be allowed to Fast Track to take away the land and environment that is needed for endangered species and protected places I also agree that our basic rights are protect these is not red tape just cuz they want a fast track out of their greed
