In these days of climate change lessening the protections that the species at risk have in the cause of being 'open for business' is ridiculous. Protecting our natural areas is important. Once they're gone we are down to manicured green-spaces, concrete jungles and cash crop farms. Read more

This is not acceptable! No economic development shall be done without ensuring environment protection, and especially protection of endangered species and their habitat. Is the Ontario government trying to to get as low as the government of our southern neighbors? Shameful to even consider that!

This will infringe on indigenous communities. And this law will allow you to not notify the public which should be illegal in any forum of government. You should be legally required to tell us if you are destroying protected lands. Read more

I strongly oppose this proposed legislation. The government should NOT be offering shortcuts for industry at the expense of critical, sensitive environments and animal populations. We need to protect our province’s biodiversity, not forsake it so that developers and their friends can get richer. Read more

I disagree but agree with it. We need to develop better and speed processes up however we require to do it in a way that does not cut red tape and not include the People. It is an goodish idea but needs rework. I am 16.
