More species need to be protected and cared for, especially with how quickly the climate is changing. While housing is important, building new houses can't come at the cost of the well being of our native species. Animals have been losing their homes and territories at an increasing rate.

This bill will irrevocably destructive for local ecosystems, there is many very good reasons why it's so "time consuming and complicated" as it's been put. It's complicated because if someone makes a mistake there are no take backs.

I think it's appalling how the conservative government is trying to weaken and destroy environmental protections in the name of the economy through ways which probably won't even help the economy in the first place.
