I strongly oppose Bill 5. As an Ontarian, I want strong environmental protections and I oppose shortcuts for industry. There is no greater responsibility than stewarding our natural environment for future generations, and I want to see my government taking this seriously. Bill 5 does not do this.
Bill 5 is overreach. There are other less draconian ways to speed measured development in this province. Please repeal or significantly alter the scope of Bill 5.

Our economy is important. There is no doubt about that. Our future, a healthy environment and a strong democracy is more important. We cannot afford to cancel our beliefs in those for a fast tracked highway or homes. Please make sure we can keep both.
