Please stop Bill 5. Our natural areas must be better protected not denigrated. Our birds are already suffering under climate change, deforestation, air pollution and tree damage from storms and invasive species. Do not take away our Endangered Species Act. Read more

Bill 5 prioritizes short-term gain over the survival of endangered species. This is not acceptable. Development must be sustainable and responsible; only then can it be considered progress. Our healthy future is your responsibility and you need to consider the legacy you leave. Read more

I am saying no to Bill 5. I would like to see environmental protections kept in place. This is not the way to provide shortcuts for developers. I live in the Greenbelt and I am concerned that once again you are not considering the environment.

All I read were a lot of words that truly meant nothing other than wildlife will no longer be protected. To change from protecting our wildlife to allow their lives, homes be destroyed is just greed. Always about money. Build and leave no land for our wildlife to thrive. Read more
