Repealing the ESA will have significant consequences to not only wildlife habitat, but also to Ontario biodiversity and ecosystem stability. This will have consequences on our natural resources including our fresh water, soil stability, and increase flood and erosion risk.

These changes are not wanted and not welcome in Ontario. We need more protections for endangered species, not less. Simply protecting a species den is nowhere near enough for what many need to survive. Read more

I oppose this short-sighted proposition that sacrifices our one and only environment for the benefit of developers. Ford needs to stop thinking that new, million dollar homes built on fragile ecosystems are going to solve our housing crisis. Read more

I oppose these changes as they are short-sighted, prioritize developers over the environment, and are sure to cause irreparable damage to ecosystems across the province. Economic growth is important, but it cannot trump all else. Read more

I do not support the changes AT ALL. Stop lining your rich friends’ pockets or we’ll make sure you’re out of office quicker than you’d hope, Ford. First you buy votes with $200 cheques and now you’re trying to destroy nature and its animals just to make your rich friends richer. Read more
