I strongly disapprove of any weakening of protections for endangered species in Ontario. We are in a world-wide climate crisis and biodiversity crisis. Loss of critical green spaces to resource development and urban expansion hurts everyone. Read more

This proposal sounds like using the US trade / economic situation as an excuse to gut and politicize environmental protections. If passed, it will probably be used as the means to auction off the greenbelt to Ford's land developer buddies and donors. 100% opposed!

Housing and associated infrastructure might be a current hot topic, but reducing protections on the environment is NOT a solution. I can see the decline of species in MY LIFETIME. My children have never seen various plants and animals that were a part of my childhood. Read more

The main cause of decline for all species at risk of extinction in N America is HABITAT LOSS. This loss legalize immediate, wide-scale destruction of habitat which is irreplaceable. Once the habitat is gone, it's GONE FOREVER. Read more

I find this proposal to be absolutely disgusting. We are stewards of this land - we need to protect the wildlife that has been here for years before us. We should not be removing protections, but instead increasing them. Read more
