As someone who has been using Grundy Provincial Park for most of the time that it has been in existence I don’t think that any land should be removed from the park. Park land is for the people of Ontario and should not be carved up everytime a new highway needs to be built. If Hwy. Read more

Please don’t take away our provincial parks, these parks are integral in the survival of certain species. Leave our provincial parks alone!

I disagree with these changes and adamantly stand against this proposal. I'm sure others do or would if they knew this was happening. Protect our Parks Doug Ford!!

I am appalled that the provincial government would even consider selling provincial park land. These lands are protected for many reasons and the less we have, more animals become homeless or endangered, people have less places to visit nature, and forests get cut down. Read more

I strongly support this amendment. The promised four laning of Highway 69 is long overdue. The protracted delay in upgrading the highway is limiting economic growth in the north. Read more

You Cannot take away provincial parks from the people for a highway. There is too much land and ecosystems that would be destroyed in the process and it is not yours to take

Grundy Lake Provincial Park, and French River PP are located on Georgian bay. Throughout this hot spot area there are plentiful wetlands home to thousands of species. More specifically species at risk. Now I know Ontario doesn’t care for species at risk but Grundy Lake PP and French River PP do. Read more

Please reconsider removing Wasaga Beach provincial park and other Ontario parks from bill C 5. These areas are owned by the people of our province and designed to be a park for all. These parks bring millions of dollars into Ontario. Read more

How are we going to meet the 2022 United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity target of preserving 30 percent of land by 2030 if you are proposing to take land out of protection? Provincial park land should not be used for landfills, as is being suggested as part of this amendment. Read more

This is a completely awful idea. This is not what's needed, find another way. Surely there must be alternatives to eating up park land. Grundy has holds many great memories as does the French river. Please don't destroy this beautiful park. Read more

It is essential to preserve all parts of our provincial pars. Chipping away small sections of these parks will likely only lead to erosion of other parks’ spaces. The provincial government should respect the established parklands.

Why are you destroying beautiful nature to create more infrastructure? I'm not a fan of this proposal. Think of the future world we are leaving for our kids.

I am extremely disappointed to hear about this proposal. We should be protecting all of the lands within our provincial parks, not giving them up to expand highways or for any type of development, period. Read more
