Does it even matter if we have a comment opposing these proposals? There is a conservative government running ON. As has been seen before, they will do whatever they want for profit. Tourism, & rich developers will change ON for the worse. Read more

Please don’t do this - we don’t need it. The earth is precious and we should treat it as so. Look at how bad the Ontario place looks, I miss walking through it and being submerged in Nature outside the city. We need to respect nature, not destroy it for our friends in high places!

No land should be removed from this or any Provincial Park or Conservation Area. Once removed, it's gone forever. These lands are a legacy for future generations, and they also protect the environment now. Find somewhere else to build your roads. Read more

Stop taking the land of our Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves. There is a reason they are protected from unscrupulous people like you! Let the land be so every Ontarian can enjoy them. They are not your to develop but ours to discover

I felt extremely disappointed reading this proposal. It is more critical than ever to protect natural land and it's disheartening to read that highway expansion is being prioritized over our environment. Read more

This is outrageous! We will fight it. Please understand that our parks are hugely important to us and they are filled with both tourists and locals who are love them.

Absolutely not! The land should stay within the parks!! Too much land across Canada, especially Ontario, is being sacrificed for materialistic/economic reasons, there’s other options out there instead of destroying habitats.

I am deeply concerned that the Ontario Government thinks that it is acceptable to take away from Provincial Park land to expand Hwy 69 when there is an alternative. Read more

Land should never be removed from Provincial Parks. It may currently seem like an insignificant amount, however, compounded over time these small removals will significantly decrease the amount of protected land across the province. Read more

This plan should not go through. The provincial parks are not only an important part of our economy (ie tourism) but also vital to our ecosystem and our cultural identity. Read more

I am against this Amendment. Please do not pass it. The French River and Grundy Lake provincial parks are necessary and important because of the ecology, geology, and cultural history of the area. Read more
