I love our Provincial Parks. I don't think it is a good idea for our government to take down protected land. I feel our country has had enough trees lost from the forest fires we have had. I think this will be harmful to the environment and the many species that live in that area. Read more

I love the French River Provincial Park. I want my family to travel safely on highway 69/400. I’m a Key Harbour (Municipality of Killarney) resident who requires ongoing access to the Key River municipal dump which is supported by the taxes I pay. Read more

Doug Fords decision to build a tunnel highway will have enormous financial implications as well as environmental. We should be purchasing the 407 back and it would likely cost us less than this proposed highway. Read more

While the proposal is to remove “small” parts of the parks, it is a dangerous precedent to set. I disagree with the removal of any land allocated to preservation of the environment. Additionally, the impact of the removal of that land is unclear. Does it disturb a running river? Is it wetland? Etc.

This land is not yours to do with what you wish. It is never a good idea to REMOVE land from a provincial park.

I believe this is a dangerous precedent to set that our provincial government can continue to roll back protected lands for unnecessary expansions. Read more

I am highly disturbed by the idea of taking away parts of our beautiful provincial parks to create a landfill. I STRONGLY request that this doesn't happen. DO NOT RUIN GRUNDY LAKE AND FRENCH RIVER!!!!!!

I've spent time travelling along highway 69 when working with Henvey Inlet First Nation. During those three years, I was able to visit French River Provincial Park by taking walks and enjoying nature. Read more
