I am totally against this proposal. This is a big city solution to a big city problem. I live in a rural community served by a conservation authority that covers two counties. This authority is governed by and accountable to ten local municipalities. Read more

We live near Fifty Point Conservation Area which is part of the HCA, we also had a boat in the marina. My concerns are the way the HCA hires staff thier seems to be a lot of nepitisum with upper managment hire relatives. The marina docks are getting old. Read more

There was a reason that the conservation authorities were set up the way they were: geography. That hasn't changed. What has changed is human intervention on the land and waterways. The personnel in each authority know their territories intimately. Read more

This is one of those decisions that will only hurt. There is no way that the proposed expanded conservation areas will be able to service the areas properly. The government will understand them and our natural resources will be the ones to suffer. Read more

Big mistake, we will loss our local contacts. The Massie Hills cross-country ski club has access to CA lands and some Grey county property. We have great working relationship with both, do we gat the same from a large group governed by Ontario politicians.
