The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-000100 to Juno Corp. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: issue the mineral exploration permit.

The government has released A Place to Grow which replaces the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2017. Changes to O. Reg. 525/97 ensure the Minister’s approval is required for official plan amendments that implement provincial mapping for the Agricultural System for the Greater Golden Horseshoe and Natural Heritage System for the Plan.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 3713-C5BKY7 for Cox Construction Limited was issued on March 3, 2022 for aggregate washing purposes in the Township of Puslinch, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 7347-8VXPMJ has been issued to Oakland Greens Golf & Country Club Inc for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from one well and one pond, located at 1993 Asphodel 7th Line in Norwood, Ontario.

The government has made changes to O. Reg. 82/98 under the Development Charges Act. in order to increase the supply and range of housing options for Ontarians.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing gave provisional consent to Application number 54-C-189896 in respect to land in Tudhope Unincorporated Township on July 11, 2025, subject to conditions. The last day this decision can be appealed is July 31, 2025.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6167832353 on August 17, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 5045-8KJNKS for Homewood Health Centre Inc, for non-potable purposes (primarily used for cooling water) serving the Homewood Health Centre, located in the City of Guelph, Ontario. The new permit expires December 31, 2031.

A declaration order has been issued to exempt a proposed transformer station at the Lake Erie Works steel plant in Nanticoke from the requirements of the Environmental Assessment Act.

Exploration Permit was issued by the Director of Exploration.

The Exploration Permit is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue.

We have updated the approval to Revolution Environmental Solutions Acquisition GP Inc., o/aTerrapure Environmental, to allow additional waste classes to be received and/or processed at the Imperial street facility in Hamilton. The approval will allow the company to improve upon and expand the waste management services they provide.

We amended an Environmental Compliance Approval to approve the updated design of the site's solidification pit.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1033051430 version 1.0 has been issued to Anatolia Real Estate Corp. for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from four wells located in the Town of Milton, Ontario.

We issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to ECS Cares Incorporated in Barrie, Ontario, to permit the company to install refrigerated storage at their facility and receive, store and transfer additional types of biomedical waste.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 8807-CMQMLQ to Lofty Riverside GP Inc.on January 3, 2023 for construction/dewatering and remediation purposes. Water will be taken from two ponds located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario. This new permit expires on January 6, 2026.

The Province will continue to consider options for supporting and improving the transportation system in northern Ontario.
