On August 13, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing gave provisional consent to Application No. 54-C-248516 to sever a new lot for a continued agricultural use, in Cane unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-24-000107 to Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. for early exploration activities.

After receiving feedback from Indigenous communities and further analysis, we decided not to proceed with the proposed amendment to O. Reg 328/03 and pursued an alternative approach.
