The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000132 to New Found Gold Corporation for early exploration activities located approximately 10 kilometres north of Virginiatown, Ontario, in Katrine and Ossian Townships, District of Temiskaming, North East Region.

The Director has issued an order under the Environmental Protection Act for the purpose of requiring delineation of Perchloroethylene (PCE)-related contamination that may be present at the site and discharging from the site, located at 180 Wortley Road, London.
The Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism (MCM) is proposing targeted changes to the 2011 Standards and Guidelines for Consultant Archaeologists that would support streamlining assessments and make administrative updates to the document.
