We have made a new regulation, Ontario Regulation 208/19 (Environmental Compliance Regulation in Respect of Sewage Works), to streamline approval requirements for constructing sewage works that the municipality will eventually own.

Official Plan Amendment 80 implements the City of Guelph Official Plan's vision, urban structure, population and employment figures, density and intensification targets.

This decision is for the renewal of Permit to Take Water No.6662-89CPHK for Gwillimdale Farms Ltd. for industrial food processing purposes. Water will be taken from two wells related to food processing activities in Bradford West Gwillimbury, County of Simcoe, Ontario. The permit was approved June 2, 2021 under permit No. 2038-C3JWQAP.

Permit to Take Water No. 5473-84XJE9 was renewed for Westview Golf Club Ltd. for golf club irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from two (2) wells located in the Town of Aurora, Regional Municipality of York. Permit number 4648-BV3T59 was issued on December 3, 2020 for a period of 10 years.

This approval is for an amendment to the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8088-84NQ6T for Magna Structural Systems Inc. operating as Promatek Research Centre, a facility that conducts research for the development of new fabrication techniques and manufactures hydroformed components.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) has been granted to Sofina Foods Inc., a turkey processing facility located in the Municipality of West Perth, Ontario.

The Closure Plan amendment is now filed. Closure Plan is considered updated.

This Permit to Take Water is being issued for operations associated with the Hardrock Project, for which public consultation on this alternative was previously conducted under an Individual Environmental Assessment (EA Reference No. 14175; File No. EA-02-10).

Owens Corning Insulating Systems Canada GP Inc. requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise). The application is considered withdrawn and no approval was issued.

A decision was made on October 29, 2025, to approve with modifications, Official Plan Amendment 2 (OPA 2) to the Township of South Algonquin’s official plan, which was adopted by By-law 2024-789. OPA 2 updates municipal land use policies to conform with applicable provincial plans, policies, and statutes, and to accommodate growth to 2049.
