The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to Erin Developments Inc. and 2779181 Ontario Inc.to build a residential development that will impact three species of at-risk bats. The permit includes actions to benefit the species and minimize adverse effects and requires monitoring and reporting.
We have finalized recovery strategies for four species at risk in Ontario. We are starting pre-consultation on government response statements through surveys. The surveys are available in this bulletin and will be open until February 15, 2024.
