The Minister has issued a permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to the Regional Municipality of York for bridge construction activities that may adversely impact Redside Dace. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects, actions to benefit the species, and monitoring and reporting requirements.

We are moving forward with regulatory changes to make it easier for proponents to apply for a permit to take water when a previous permit has been cancelled, revoked, or expired within the past year in limited circumstances. These changes will give applicants more flexibility while maintaining oversight.

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for Gatling Exploration Inc. for mining, quarrying and gas extraction purposes. Water will be taken from 18 water courses and 12 lakes.

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval for the existing and proposed subsurface sewage disposal works, rated at 43,550 litres per day, to service a trailer park located at 289 Wollaston Lake Road in the Town of Coe Hill.

We issued an Amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), replacing all the current Environmental Compliance Approvals for air at this facility, for all air emissions from ARLANXEO Canada Inc., a wastewater treatment facility for a bio-industrial park located in the City of Sarnia, Ontario.

This decision is for an amendment to Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1221871218 for Gatling Exploration Inc. Water will be taken from 20 lakes, 20 wells, and 40 watercourses for mining purposes as part of the Larder Gold Project, located five kilometres east of the Town of Larder Lake, Ontario.
