The 2018 Closure Plan Amendment for the Musselwhite Mine was filed by the Director of Mine Rehabilitation with changes addressed in the Closure Plan Amendment Update dated November 9, 2019 to address government technical reviews.
We have approved the Project Evaluation Policy under the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act. It will guide consideration of potential environmental effects and consultation for certain proposed projects within provincial parks and conservation reserves carried out by or on behalf of the ministry.
The proposed Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve Repeal Act, 2022 was introduced on November 16, 2022 to align with the broader proposed amendments to the Greenbelt and to support Ontario’s goal of building 1.5 million homes over the next decade.
