I am opposed to a province wide standard on development which would prevent municipalities from enacting standards or regulations particular to their own needs and citizen aspirations.
It is important for cities to be able to respond to changing needs in their communities and to be free to enact policies to help combat or deal with climate change, especially as new technologies are developed
