I am a private citizen…

I am a private citizen. Parent. Live in the GTA. I in now way would benefit from Industry to cut the red tape on not reporting nor reducing their toxic substances. I do understand the premise is to reduce duplication but it is not clear how much duplication or how the programs are carried out. For example are all toxic substances covered by both regulation and are both equally restrictive in how the public are notified , clean up or substances and motivating for reduction of substances.

History has taught us well that industry is more then ready to pollute our air and water and land with no regard to the environment. The environment is in itself life without which all the industry makes no difference if you are dead.

I am horrified that this governemrnt so blatantly disregards citizens health and well being for the corporate interest.
