Sounds like timely move forward. I support growing the greenbelt. While it arguably could exacerbate development pressures, the recent pandemic shows the pressure from residents for green space is equally acute. For that reason, greater protection of lands from development is increasingly important.

One thing I find confusing is this statement: "Infrastructure, including highways to sewage and water treatment plants to corridors for transit and utilities, is permitted in these plans subject to certain conditions."

More details and consultation around these conditions would be a good idea.
