The Greenbelt Plan is yet…

The Greenbelt Plan is yet another short-sighted effort on the government's part, designed nearly wholly to put money into the pockets of developers and the politicians whose pockets they line, with little to no consideration for the necessary environmental protections in the province's most fertile and biologically diverse region.

There is no proven need to develop the Greenbelt - the province has ample existing room for development, in areas that are under or improperly utilized. We don't need more sprawl - build in and up, not out!

Lastly, let's note that Premier Ford promised time and time again that his government would not touch the Greenbelt. He's also proven time and time again that he is not a person of his word. Accountability matters, this project should never have seen the light of day and should be rescinded in its entirety.
