I am a teacher, a mother and a long time volunteer in my community. I firmly believe that climate change is real and that protecting our vulnerable
green spaces is a vital piece of the puzzle.

I believe the plan to loose protected land for housing is shortsighted and in the long run will hurt both my future and yours.

A justification given was that we will only take land that is next to developed land. By that logic, all protected land is in jeopardy of being slowly eroded.

When a healthy ecosystem is gone, it is gone for good. I am sure that alternative building sites can be found..... if you have the will.
