We agree with the new regulations but don’t think they go far enough. Actually we don’t think the container cottages should be allowed at all. We are concerned about the gray water (even if that is all it is), the possibility of fuel spills, lake bottom disturbances, fish habitat.
Not to mention that they are an eyesore and they don’t pay taxes. So you have someone in their cottage who pays high taxes looking at a container structure instead of the beautiful natural environment.
