I am very much against allowing camping on water.
Camping on water is a problem because:
Environment concerns:
- improper dumping of waste in the water
- sound and how it travels from the vessel into the water could affect marine life and their breeding
Safety:
- on-water camping or cottages being positioned where boats would normally travel is a hazard
Regulatory
- how would their use and activities be monitored effectively?
These should not be allowed. This will only make waterways more polluted, busy which will affect wildlife, and unsafe.
