Has there been any thought as to the different regions in Ontario, fairly certain a 1 fit solution will not be very accommodating, particularly if most of these 'complaints' are coming from privileged cottage or home owners on waterbodies.

As an example, the proposal "adding a new condition to prohibit camping on water within 300 meters of a developed shoreline: - Are islands part of these shorelines, some (Crown) islands are kilometers from the land shoreline, why would that bother any one to be moored/camped within a short swimming distance to an island?

What about a river 1/2 kilometer wide, that will be restricting anyone from mooring/camping on rivers less than 600 meters.

Perhaps you're trying to accommodate the few from southern ontario and perhaps americans on the lake of the woods. Has there been any scientific studies done to support your proposal regarding the degrading of lake/river beds. Abitiibiti for example and Lake Temiskaming that share the border with quebec - both large bodies of water, with hundreds of islands - has there been any impact to fishery or lake beds that would be more of an impact than, say ice fishing, of these so call floating campsites?
