It is absolutely imperative that the Greenbelt be protected from development to protect the environment now and for future generations. Too much green space has already been gobbled up for residential, commercial and industrial development along with concrete for new and expanded roadways without regard for the consequences of these actions. There are thousands of acres outside the Greenbelt, green spaces and environmentally sensitive land thst is available for development. Time to more responsibly manage development to ensure the environment thrives.
