Regarding ebikes: As a person who has been bicycling my whole life I do not feel safe sharing the bike lane with a motorized vehicle, no matter whether it is a gasoline-powered motorcycle or an ebike or a hybrid. The danger I feel is that these vehicles all have motors that allow them to do things that my bicycle cannot, like achieve speeds easily exceeding the speed limit even in busy city traffic where I plod along pedaling as fast as I can. Please prioritize road safety over the interests of those dealing in and/or operating these dangerous projectiles!
