I strongly believe that this moratorium should be permanent. The bottled water industry is environmentally damaging due to its plastic packaging. At least a deposit charged on each bottle should be imposed to reduce plastic litter and pollution. Lire davantage

I am a concerned Ontario tax payer and wish to strongly present my opposition to granting an extension of this ridiculous agreement. I oppose the extension and suggest that any such agreement at a very minimum should increase the charge per million litres by a 1000% or more. Lire davantage

Such a bad idea. Instead, educate the public about the wastefulness of using bottled water and make them aware that they are paying money for the same safe drinking water that comes out of their taps.

Thank you for extending the moratorium on water bottling permits for another year! As a Conservative voter I am proud of this government for taking a firm stance against the exploitation of our groundwater resources.
