I agree that it would be wise to extend the water bottling permit moratorium, particularly to allow for additional consultation with the traditional council in Indigenous communities.

I am strongly in favour of extending the moratorium because Wellington Centre needs more time to implement its Water Supply Master Plan and to investigate new well sites. The Mayor is in favour of the extension.
Stop water taking for profit
Out water table/ aquifers are depleting. Talk to municipalities where municiple water comes from groundwater well - this is a crisis.
Water for profit is robbing Ontarians & creating a future water shortage.

stop being a corporate government and start actually caring about your people, our land and our resources. Please don’t follow in previous parties selfish greed. Think big picture, you will be remembered for those decisions.
I am writing to express my support for the proposed extension of the moratorium on water bottling permits, and to support an amendment to the Ontario Water Resources Act that would require water bottlers to require the support of a host municipality when applying for a new permit to take water.
