When the legislators insert elements into omnibus bills which are not obviously supportive of the aims of the main intent of the bill, the public can only interpret that these elements would not stand on their own. This leads to public cynicism .

I strongly oppose this initiative. While planning needs to be reformed in our province, in order to build more housing with less delays, it would be destructive for the minister to remove site plan control as part of MZOs.
