I am completely against this amendment. Ford promised that he would never build on the Greenbelt and now that is exactly what he is talking.about doing. This amendment would not create more affordable housing it will simply create more housing for the rich. Lire davantage

I am very concerned that this government is trying to take protected lands from the greenbelt. These are sensitive lands that house many endangered species. It is also farmland that we need to grow food so we can eat. We do not need more massive houses on massive tracts of land. Lire davantage

We need the green belt to be left unchanged, so that we can maintain the agricultural land. We need to be able to grow food , while climate change is removing arable land from production everywhere. We need to maintain our aquifers so that we have clean water. Lire davantage

This plan is heinous. Picking away at the greenbelt will accomplish nothing apart from getting contractor “friends” paid. Housing demand will continue to be a problem so long as housing DISTRIBUTION remains a problem. Lire davantage
