Premier Ford - we expected leadership from you. What we are getting is destruction of our environment and the air and water that supports us all.
In this destruction process you are also destroying yourself. What a sad end!
I am totally against building in the Greenbelt for reasons I am sure you are aware of. Desecration of farmlands and wetlands cannot continue. They are necessary for food security for ourselves and perhaps for other parts of the world, and for the health of our environment.

Is it not a better option to repurpose former industrial land (GM site on Ontario St in St Catharines for 1 example) or look at building high density buildings in place of run down neighborhoods (anywhere along Barton St Hamilton)? Why destroy irreplaceable farm land?

Stop removing the forests and the greenbelt. Without them people cannot thrieve. Convert the current homes into smaller homes, multi family homes. Have senior parents live with their children. Provide care for them there. That all helps with the housing. We do not need bigger homes to survive.
