Have already informed our mpp re: my strong opposition to this unneeded and damaging proposal. Let’s keep promises made. From where are you getting your information and advice re: using greenbelt for housing and roads. Neither make sense or can be justified.

Absolutely not! Greenspaces are worth far more economically kept intact! Stop wasting money and resourses. Focus should be on providing low impact modest housing. Re-use materials, spaces and paid government workers to create solutions and projects. We are better than this bill!

It's outrageous that the provincial government is trying to tamper with the Greenbelt. We in Hamilton made it perfectly clear we want to STOP SPRAWL. How many ways do you need to hear it? We want to protect prime farmland. Lire davantage

I am not seeing that aquifers being compromised are being adequately protected. I don't see any study of the migratory paths of animals that range over the territories under consideration. Lire davantage

I am extremely grateful that the ford government is willing to release the green belts as it benefits our economy, creates more jobs, brings in more tax dollars, creates schools and most importantly will open the door to more affordable housing. Lire davantage

As an affordable housing advocate I am absolutely opposed to increased suburban development that costs the city more to service and build infrastructure than it does to provide an appreciable difference to vulnerable sectors most in need of housing. These will be big suburban houses. Lire davantage
