Please do not move the goalposts for the definition of affordable housing. The housing situation is already unsustainable and such a change will worsen - not help - the people who you claim to serve. Your party platform was "for the people." Here's a great chance to prove it. Lire davantage

The definition of affordable should be based on lowest income, not percentiles in each area. This seems like an obvious ploy by an untrustworthy Government to shine some light on their efforts to make housing affordable, without putting in any real effort. Lire davantage

No, this will result in less affordable housing and further homelessness. Keep the definition of affordable housing to 30% of household income.

Seems like "could" help households and "would" incent developers" are the loud words here. The elected government is meant to work for the people of Ontario, not strictly the developers operating here. It's obvious who you care about more, and it's the latter. Lire davantage

This is just another way for the ford government to put more tax payer money in the hands of their developer friends. Nothing about this proposal will help with affordable housing.

What kind of rental properties do these include? If a family of 4 with household income of 50k and wants to rent how much would they pay under these new regulations? Does this family pay the same as a single person person making 50k themselves for the same property? Lire davantage

I believe that the definition of 30% of household income is should be used for Affordable Housing. Tying the definition to market value does not allow for a variety of housing types for everyone to be able to afford them. Lire davantage

Defining "Affordable Housing" at the 60th percentile "in the opinion of" the Minister is not truly affordable housing, so lets call it what it really is. Lire davantage
