I’m overjoyed to hear about the proposal to expand climbing access at Devils Glen. I’ve been an avid climber for over a decade and I can’t say enough positive things about this sport and its community. I only foresee positive impacts from expanding access to climbing areas like Devils Glen.

I regularly climb in various places across Ontario, nationally, and internationally. Ontario has some of the most restrictive access to climbing that I have seen worldwide. It is important that recreational land users of all types are permitted access to our public land. Lire davantage

I would like to comment on this proposal to officially accept climbing at Devils Glen. It’ll go a long way to preserving access here, and also help establish better access at Lions Head and Sleeping Giant!

With regards to climbing at Devil's Glen I want to just say that most other provinces allow climbing. In fact, most places in the world that I have climbed allow climbing at their parks and this it is backwards thinking to not allow climbing in our parks. Lire davantage
