To obtain a moose tag, I am forced to apply as a group. However, the tag gets allocated to an individual therefore if that person can not take time off or decides to hunt alone or else where, the several people who paid about of money now can not hunt. What think would be a fair way is the party gets the tag. Then as long as 50% of the hunters are present then the party can hunt. Reason I say 50% is this had happened before, the person with the tag lives out of town or can not take as much time off to hunt, so the tag goes to waste. Threats needs to belong as a party tag. We have to apply as a party therefore hunt as one. But all hunters need not be present. Personally, one year the tag holder wanted to hunt with another party and we had 8 people apply as a party over 500.00 and we couldn’t hunt because the xxxxx guy hunted else where. Please consider changes to allow more party hunting and not allocate tag to an individual.
