The City of Toronto has been working on separating and replacing combined sewers across the city to prevent the discharge of raw sewage into Lake Ontario. This proposal is going against this process. We know that it is necessary work considering the strength of the storms (2) that have hit Toronto in the last 10 years, the risk to human health and to the quality of the water when raw sewage go in the lake.
CNE water attractions are affected as well, a 140-year tradition bringing in many outside visitors.

I am deeply concerned about the need to build an interim combined sewer overflow system at this location and this to accommodate a private Spa.
This is not in the public interest. It is not where our tax dollars should go.
Please deny this permit.
