The existing requirements protect tax payers including future residents in potential developments by ensuring appropriate review of proposals re: access, utility provision, maintenance options among others. Reducing or removing such protections is irresponsible and places the burden of consequences inequitably upon current and future tax payers and residents. I wholeheartedly oppose the proposal.
