I do not support the proposed amendments to the PPCRA and HPA as outlined in the ERO. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is a world-renowned tourist destination and best-known as the largest public beach on the Great Lakes. The proposal appears to open the door to all kinds of tourist enterprises that are not in keeping with the beach as a pristine and unspoiled natural resource. There are plenty of opportunities for the Town to develop these kinds of enterprises without spoiling one of Ontario's finest beaches, as well as being prime habitat for the endangered piping plover. Please don't turn Wasaga Beach into another Ontario Place fiasco!
