You MUST NOT privatize a public beach and asset. The beach needs to be taken care of, protected and preserved for future generations. This protection is not just for the humans for recreation and relief from these scorching summers but for wildlife as well.
It is a protected habitat for the plovers nesting area. Please do not destroy yet another habitat!
Ontario Parks are putting in areas for habitat to protect what we have left and this is another reason to maintain the nesting areas for these endangered shore birds!
We do not need another destruction as we have seen at Ontario Place, the Greenbelt and so many more sites. Especially since the destruction of the Endangered Species Act and the disempowerment of the Conservation Authorities, it is important to stop going down this senseless path!
Live up to the name CONSERVAtive and keep this area out of private ownership!!
