Provincial parks are protected places that belong to the people of Ontario. We should be expanding the number and size of provincial parks, not reducing them and selling them off to developers. Tourism is important to Wasaga Beach, but it should not be at the expense of public, protected areas that are used by people and that support flora and fauna important to our province. I am very opposed to the proposed amendments to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006.
