Hello,
The proposed change directly threatens Piping Plover nesting and foraging habitat. It is ironic that this is being done in the name of boosting tourism, because those plovers are literally the only reason I ever visit Wasaga Beach.
If this habitat is built over, not only will I never have any reason to visit again, but I will vocally warn others away from visiting. Maintaining that intact habitat is far more in the town's best interest than a resort or whatever is specifically planned.
